A Confident Queen

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a Queen. I grew up loving to see women on TV and movies like Eartha Kitt, Josephine Baker, Elizabeth Taylor, Dorothy Dandridge and Lucille Ball to name a few. These were all women that I admired greatly. I saw these glamorous women all as poised, graceful, beautiful, full of strength and courage. What I remember most about them was their beautiful attire, always dressed to impress with the confidence and walk to match! What I saw was women empowered, achieving goals that many never saw possible, such as breaking down barriers in gender, race and being trendsetters in entertainment as well as fashion. Most importantly, what I had observed was a confident Queen dressing the part!
It's important to bring attention to a subject matter that has affected everyone woman at some point in her life, lack of confidence. Not having self-esteem or confidence in yourself and abilities hinders your life in many ways, which is why it’s so critical for you to understand once you change how you look at yourself and take control of your confidence it can literally change your life, if you allow it. To take it a step further, how you dress or your sense of style announces you and gives a first impression before you even have an opportunity to speak. Take time to discover who you are and what makes you happy by stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying new things. Don't be afraid to try new styles, new colors because you never know what will unfold. The best thing that could happen is you find your inner Confident Queen!

This book was written to educate and empower women to become the best version of themselves through self-love and encouragement to live the great life they deserve.
