Who am I?
Who is she? Is that the girl who no one expected to blossom into, the beautiful being, she had become inside and out? People, around, were condescending and filled with doubt, expected her to crack, to crumble under the cruel pressures and lessons of life.
She.... Was bruised, battered, raped, but not broken, as she grew she became more outspoken, finally...to tell her story. She knew then she was special, a testament to, dreams, can come true on, beating the stereotypes....don't trust or believe the hype, they are meant to, confuse you, want to force you, to conform to, how they feel you should be. But not me, not I.... I broke the mold
Who does she think she is? Better than us? They would say, cuss, fuss, speculate, hate and try to manipulate her into thinking, she is less than, when they all know she is the best when....ever
You can't can't deny her light, that shines, ever so bright...ly. They couldn't understand, it wasn't meant for them to, for it is God who has a plan, for her life, it is he who directs her path, although the enemy works hard through others to direct
his wrath her way, yet she still gives praises to the most high
By and by and by and by he, brings her through the storm.... Polished and made new, vibrant bold and grew to be, what/who she was destined to be, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend.... No longer afraid.... She is Golden.

I am a happily married mother of 6 who enjoys writing and spreading my gifts of love and encouragement to the world. Along with being a mother and wife, I wear a multiple hats and sometimes I have to wear them simultaneously as also published author, fashion designer, and poet. I have always been a writer and a lover of fashion, with that I was inspired to write my first book titled "A Confident Queen: Dresses the Part". The purpose for my book is to bring attention to a subject matter that has affected every woman at some point in her life: lack of confidence. Having a low self esteem or lack of confidence in yourself and abilities hinders your life in many ways. This is why it's so critical for you to understand once you change how you look at yourself, because how you see yourself is how the world see you. I encourage you to take control of your life by making the decision to start believing in yourself. To take it a step further confidence is also reflected in your attire, so it's important to know that what you wear gives off an impression of you before you even have an opportunity to speak. This is where I come in, I look forward to giving you inspiring words of motivation weekly and help point you in the right direction to define clothing outlines that represents the Confident Queen that you are.
